Channel builder - Shell, United States - Cascade Ventures
Description
About us:We are a medium-sized civil engineering company founded in 1991 with over 160 employees and apprentices. Our main areas of focus are controlled pipe jacking, open canal construction, sewer rehabilitation, and pipeline construction.
As a recognized training company, we train skilled and commercial apprentices according to the guidelines of the Chamber of Crafts and Industry and Commerce (IHK) and are partners for the dual study program at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam.
We provide on-the-job training, meaning hands-on experience. The important thing is that no one is thrown into the deep end. Our apprentices always have experienced trainers and mentors by their side.
The apprenticeship:As a canal builder, you will construct and maintain sewage pipes and systems, as well as carry out repairs. You will primarily work for civil engineering companies, but your knowledge will also be in demand in the wastewater industry, for example in the maintenance and cleaning of sewage pipes. You may also work for municipal building departments or engineering firms.
