Job summary
The City of Northglenn is seeking energetic and self-motivated individual to join the Crisis Response Unit as a Co-Responder. They will work with residents to connect them with community resources and provide follow-up case management services.This position requires at least five years experience in social services field including case management experience. Additionally, they must have minimum two years of experience in crisis interview verbal de-escalation working with individuals who experience severe mental illness or other at-risk populations. They also require strong communication skills enthusiasm creative thinking ability to exercise independent judgment commitment to excellence customer service responsiveness knowledge local community services resources preferred prior word excel software packages desirable possession valid vehicle operator's license good driving record selected candidate pass background polygraph psych drug screen physical bilingual Spanish preferred.
- Bachelor degree in social work psychology counseling related field.
- Master degree in social work psychology counseling related field strongly preferred.
