- Participate in a variety of audits, with a focus on actuarial/risk management functions, from beginning to end, owning your audit tasks within the agile audit team, and positively impacting the audit delivery.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior management and engage with various stakeholders across the business.
- Apply your expertise to contribute to the GIA audit plan.
- Coach other members of the audit team on technical underwriting topics.
- Challenge the audit teams to excel by acting as a role model.
- 5 plus years of work experience in an assurance function or a similar qualified function within the P&C (Re-)insurance industry.
- University degree required.
- Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary or similar (preferred).
- Strong understanding of reserving methods for (Re-)insurance business.
- Understanding of IFRS 17/ US GAAP financial principles.
- Understanding of governance processes and controls.
- Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

About the Role
As an Actuarial Senior Auditor in Group Internal Audit, you will participate in various audit activities. You will engage with senior actuaries and function heads on a regular basis in reserving and underwriting, but you will be challenged to learn more about risk management, claims, technical accounting and regulatory environments.

Essentials:
For Armonk, NY the estimated base salary range for this position is $113,000 to $200,000. The specific salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.
