Mathnasium is a FUN and UPBEAT Math-only Learning Center in Newton, Needham, Wellesley, Walpole, Brookline, and Belmont. We have several openings for In-Person math tutors who would like to help kids in a fun and upbeat environment.

No official tutoring experience needed but

1.
Must be strong in math through Algebra 1.


  • An SAT Math score 700+ or ACT equivalent.

Must enjoy working with kids (1st-8th grade).


  • Must be open to learning new ways of teaching math and working with children.
  • Must be in 11th grade or older.

To Apply:


Your Role
You'll be working with students grades 1-8, explaining math. All worksheets and lesson plans are prepared by center directors and prepared for you.


_Flexible Hours - _You choose
when you work: 2, 3, or 4 shifts
/ week**
Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu: 3:30 pm - 7:30 pm


Sat, Sun:10am - 2pm (Only Newton, Wellesley, Fresh Pond, and Brookline Center)


_Pay Rate_:
$17-$20 per hour

math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, and pass a background check.
