- Work in the Pediatrics Float Pool of a hospital setting
- Care for a variety of pediatric patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex
- Night shifts with weekend and holiday requirements
- Assigned three 12-hour shifts per week
- Floating is required within the float pool
- Responsible for a group of pediatric patients, including administering medication and monitoring responses
- Assists with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
- Coordinates with family and healthcare team to share care plans and discharge information
- Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate
- May only extend one time up to a total of 26 weeks before a required 6 month separation from further contracts
- Active OK or compact RN license required
- Minimum of one year of RN experience
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
- BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Good verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
