The
Senior Credit Analyst
proactively manage a portfolio of buyers by gathering the appropriate level of information and assessing buyers according to defined targets (manual grading).
Key Responsibilities/What You Do:
Manage a profitable portfolio of business within the parameters agreed upon with the Regional Director of Information & Grading, utilizing sound credit analysis techniques.
Monitor high risk buyers and solicit proprietary information for EHNA database by establishing a rapport and maintaining contact with Finance Directors, Treasurers, through visits and telephone and written correspondence.
Utilizing all information available arrive at consistent grading of buyers within authority and make detailed recommendations to Supervisor and/or Regional Director when outside authority.
Evaluate industry conditions and current EHNA exposures to recommend portfolio actions to increase or decrease aggregate coverage. Provide certain number of analysis without buyer contact.Communicate with Agents and Commercial Underwriters and/or customers as to underwriting requirements regarding industry outlooks and target markets.
Prepare buyer visit reports and GRIC reports.
Take responsibility in projects and initiatives supporting RBM and IRP related matters.
Complete the quarterly industry sector update for the CSM (Country Sector Matrix)
Key Requirements/What You Bring:
Bachelor's Business Administration or Finance,
MBA preferred
4-6 years' experience in financial analysis, credit
Analysis or another relevant field
Strong analytical, interpersonal and self-motivation
Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,
Capacity to communicate with 3rd parties to get info
Ability to work in a team, ensure good relationship with risk underwriting team
