Schedule: Full time, Day shift. 8am-4:30pm, Monday - Friday -
Facility: St John Medical Center -
Location: 1923 S. Utica Ave. Tulsa, 74104 - Review applications, prepare verification letters and maintain database.
- Contact medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers to complete credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
- Complete administrative duties, such as ensuring state medical licenses are up-to-date and checking the status of new license applications.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and legal requirements related to the Medical staff.
- Credentialing Specialist preferred.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note:
- Be self motivated,
- Take ownership of their process within the department,
- Work with teammates to verify correctness of information,
- Communicate and collaborate with other departments and staff to ensure completeness and on-time submittal of credentialing documentation.
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Google Suites is necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communication, detail oriented and deadline oriented is a must
