RESPONSIBILITIES:
Fundraising Strategy:
- A real estate industry fundraiser with an impressive and easily verifiable track record of fundraising on behalf of comingled funds, separate accounts, and oneoff investments.
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure capital for property acquisitions.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with HNW individuals, institutional investors, private equity firms, family offices, and other potential funding sources.
Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- Collaborate with the Acquisitions team to create comprehensive financial models for property investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to assess risk and return profiles of potential acquisitions.
Investor Communication:
- Prepare compelling investment presentations and pitch materials for potential investors.
- Effectively communicate the company's investment thesis and strategy to existing and prospective investors.
Market Research:
- Stay abreast of market trends, economic indicators, and competitive landscape to inform fundraising strategies and investment decisions.
- Provide market insights to the Acquisitions team to support their decisionmaking process.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on fundraising progress and financial performance.
Relationship Management:
- Possesses extensive relationships with HNW/UHNW individual investors, family offices and private wealth organizations.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with current investors, fostering a sense of trust and confidence in the company's ability to deliver returns.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA) preferred.
- Proven experience in capital markets fundraising within the real estate or property management sector.
- Capable of making the entire fundraising, investor relations and marketing communications function their own and state of the art.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Established network within the investment community.
- Indepth knowledge of multifamily real estate markets and investment strategies.
