- Evaluate production set-ups to ensure quality requirements are met by performing 1st piece approvals for production.
- Ensure quality technicians are properly assigned and trained and day to day processes are being followed and maintained.
- Ensure product quality requirements were maintained throughout the run by performing last piece approvals for production.
- Assist Operations in ensuring Production Operators complete the required quality inspections (hourly checks/active inspection).
- Conduct gage and fixture studies as required.
- Assist production floor personnel in the use of statistical techniques and in the use of gages and fixtures.
- Monitor, support & assist in product Escalation, Isolation & Containment of defective material.
- Education: Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in field: 2-4 years' experience in related field. Experience using micrometers, calipers, scales, taper gauges, and high gauges.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
- Leadership-mentoring, training, and coaching associates.
