    Process Technician (Injection Molding)

    • Process Technician
    • Garland, TX
    • Plastic Processing (automotive supplier)
    • Night Shift, 10:45pm - 7am M-F (some Saturdays)
    We are working with an established printing company based in *Garland, TX.

    *They are recruiting for a *Process Technician *to join their team on the *Night Shift *in return for flexible pay along with excellent employment benefits which include Healthcare, Vision and Dental insurance, PTO, and 401k match.

    *Primary Functions:
    • Review daily moldd1angescheduIeand priority as determined by the Shift Supervisor.
    • Prepare mold to be set as required, before shutdown of production mold.
    • Shut down production mold/ Disconnect and remove all auxiliary and support equipment.
    • Remove mold from the molding press.
    • Set next job production mold into molding press/ Connect all required auxiliary and support equipment.
    • Enter process into molding machine as defined by Master Process Control.
    • Perform housekeeping around press and workstation, and initiate any work orders for repair required.
    • Set up workstation, and complete the assigned area of the First Piece Approval document(s).
    • Initiate any tool maintenance work orders required on previous production tools.
    • Move previous production tools to storage.
    • Participate, as needed, in internal problem-solving/improvement activities.
    • Communicate issues related to mold changes that may affect scheduled startup time
    • Other duties as assigned by supervision.
    *Requirements:
    • High School Diploma or GED and/or 6 months of related job experience
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and safety documentation
    • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates
    • Basic mathematics skills, addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage
    • Must be able to operate a forklift and crane, and to follow lockout/tagout procedures
    • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and torque up to 350lbs
