    Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to handle the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings, landscaping, amenities, parking lot, and trash areas for Charbern Apartments and Park 132 Apartments. The Maintenance Technician II will be responsible for maintenance tasks such as repairs, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and janitorial duties.


    This role requires strong attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to manage work orders using technology. If you appreciate working independently and have a passion for continuous learning, we are interested in hearing from you!


    Location: Charbern Apartments and Park 132 Apartments (Milwaukie/SE Portland)

    Hourly Rate: $28-$32/hr. (Depending on Experience)

    Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

    Weekly Contracted Hours: 40 hrs.

    Additional Compensation: Monthly $50.00 cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications for Maintenance Technician II

    • One (1) year in the Maintenance Technician I role or Two (2) years of previous maintenance technician experience, ideally in property management for commercial or multi-family properties.
    • Janitorial experience preferred.
    • Motivation, time management skills, and the ability to follow instructions when working independently or in a team.
    • Intermediate knowledge of landscaping, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, drywall installation and repairs, and flooring installation and repair (required).
    • Experience with a pressure washer.
    • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
    • Familiarity with janitorial equipment, including manual and power tools, and handling chemicals while adhering to safety protocols.
    • Availability for after-hours emergencies.
    • Reliable transportation for carrying necessary tools, including power washing equipment.
    • Valid driver's license, insurance, and clean driving record for running work-related errands.
    • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding written and verbal instructions.
    • Familiarity with landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Labor Laws, Fair Housing Laws, and compliance with anti-discrimination regulations.
