Job description

The Hardscape Installation Forman is an experienced hardscape construction

and installation supervisor of a crew of two to five. This position runs a project from

start to finish in the installation of retaining walls, walkways, patios, outdoor

kitchens, firepits and water features.

Essential Duties

• Work closely with Operations Manager.
• Always represent the company's best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
• Reads blueprints, hand drawings, diagrams and implements an installation plan per job.
• Can identify stone and hardscape materials by memory.
• Maintain a clean job site, orderly and stocked equipment trailer.
• Lead and instruct team to produce excellent and profitable product.
• Teach and train team members to ensure proper procedures, processes and quality of work are followed and achieved.
• Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles.
• Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that the job is completed in the most timeefficient manner.
• Direct, oversee and participate in work performed by your team. This is a very handson position and requires this person to perform any task they would ask their team to do. You will be expected to work alongside them.
• Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality.
• Complete project documentation in an organized and timely manner.
• Collect, review, sign off and submit team timesheets by the required deadline.
• Routinely interacts with clients by way of introductions at the beginning of job, answering questions, responding to client requests, making reasonable changes to the plan, and providing a walkthrough at the job's completion.
• Operate equipment such as skid steers and excavators.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid Driver's License and is insurable by company insurance carriers.
• Ability to safely handle a truck & trailer combination/large bed dump trucks (non CDL).
• Demonstrated ability for safe and proper operation of basic hardscape and construction equipment.

Requirements:

• Responsibility and accountability for vehicle/equipment inventory, security, care and maintenance.
• Must be physically able to perform duties and enjoy working outdoors yearround.
• Must be a team player and possess good people skills.
• Requires excellent timemanagement and organizational skills.
• Must comply with all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
• MA Hoisting License and DOT Medical Card
• Must be available for all snow events throughout the winter.

Salary:
$30 per hour
