A rare and exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Accountant in our Finance Department, with the retirement of a long-term employee.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer; the successful candidate will have the following knowledge, skills and qualifications:

Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
Ability to direct and supervise 2 employees. (Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience).
Extensive experience with computer-based business software applications including spreadsheet and data base applications as required.
Advanced skills in computerized software including payroll, time collection, fixed assets and general ledger required.
Experience with software implementation a plus.
Must have excellent communication, mathematical and reasoning skills.
Ability to monitor and analyze large amounts of accounting data and produce financial reports.
Strong organization skills, ability to multi task, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting for Finance
Minimum 5 years' experience in General Accounting, Payroll Administration, Accounts Payable supervision, Fixed Asset accounting, cash management, and account analysis.
