Job Description:


We are currently seeking a candidate for the position of Center for Long-Term Observation and Methods in Multiple Projects in Merrimac, VA.

This position will involve working in the Z department and its projects, such as

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Z department and its projects, such as

A NRW

  • Assist in planning and preparing empirical studies in social research
  • Contribute to the development of questionnaires, assist with technical preparations for data collection, and conduct pretests
  • Conduct literature research and management
  • Proofread texts, create graphics and presentations
  • Manage, process, and analyze data

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a fulltime program in social sciences, education, psychology, or statistics (Bachelor's or Master's) or a teaching degree
  • Interest in working on one or more of the key responsibilities mentioned above
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to learn the literature management software Citavi
  • Previous experience with statistical software (Stata, R, etc.) or working with LaTeX is an advantage
  • Reliable and able to work independently

Our Offer:

  • Start date: as soon as possible
  • 12month contract with the possibility of extension
  • Parttime position, 619 hours per week
  • Location: Merrimac, VA
  • Salary according to the guidelines
