We are a leading company in the steel industry, renowned for our commitment to quality and safety. We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Claims Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our high standards by reviewing steel defects identified during production and coordinating with mills and suppliers to address these issues.

You will also manage claims related to these defects. Our competitive advantage lies in our use of advanced ERP systems and our strong focus on safety.

Responsibilities:


  • Identify and review steel defects during production
  • Coordinate with mills and suppliers to rectify steel defects
  • Manage and resolve claims related to steel defects
  • Ensure safety procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 12 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working in an ERP system
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of flat roll steel production processes and quality control
  • Understanding of steel defects pertaining to coil processing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
