Akira Technologies is seeking an Okta Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help support our government client in modernizing their enterprise information technology services, which is vital to deploying their mission in disaster and relief programs.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Oktarelated identity and access management matters. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures related to Okta, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
  • Provide expertlevel support for Oktarelated incidents and issues. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including security analysts, system administrators, and developers, to implement Okta solutions that align with project requirements. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to Okta configurations, integrations, and best practices. Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for endusers and administrators.

Job Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Okta certification.
  • Proven experience as an Okta Subject Matter Expert, with 12+ years of experience, 7+ years of IDM development and migration experience, including 3+ years with Okta, Agile development experience.
  • Okta certification(s) is highly desirable.
  • Indepth knowledge of identity and access management principles and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.
  • Experience with federal government security standards and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in government contracting or familiarity with government processes is a plus.
  • Experience working with government systems (i.e., SharePoint) and stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow through.
  • Ability to adapt and operate effectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
  • Working knowledge and experience of MS Office (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel).
  • This is a US government contract and therefore US Citizenship is required.
