SUMMARY: Under general supervision, the Logistics Lead leads and assists multiple teams and shifts in the support of internal and external customer requirements. The area of responsibility may include one or a combination of the following areas: Stores, Shipping/Receiving, Tooling, and Operation Support.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
+ Directs, leads and reassigns support team in response to workload requirements.
+ Ensures assigned team members are consistently practicing appropriate safety procedures.
+ Coordinates and participates in the daily assignment of tasks in the work area.
+ Supports, communicates and implements company initiatives (e.g. Lean Operations).
+ Provides guidance to staff when resolving technical, procedural, and customer service issues.
+ Provides premier customer service support to assigned internal and external customers.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
+ Minimum of three (3) years of inventory handling and control or warehouse operation experience required, including operation of trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
+ Forklift certification required (must obtain certification within 60 days of hire).
+ 49CFR and IATA dangerous goods training (compliance to ATS requirements within 30 days of hire).
+ Valid state drivers license required.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit; use their hands and arms; and talk or hear; and focus on objects close up. The employee will also be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Compensation
The full base pay range for this position is $23.00-$35.00 per hour, exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
