General Responsibilities:
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts;
- Invoice Management: Process invoices and manage accounts payable, including data entry;
- Compliance and Approval: Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, securing appropriate approvals;
- General Ledger Oversight: Review the general ledger for proper classification;
- Discrepancy Management: Identify discrepancies and communicate issues promptly;
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation and organized files;
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports;
- Professional Collaboration: Liaise with accountants;
- Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned.
Accounts Receivable (A/R):
- Invoice Processing: Generate and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery to patients or insurance companies;
- Payment Tracking: Monitor incoming payments, track outstanding accounts, and maintain uptodate billing records;
- Receivables Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted;
- Client Interactions: Engage directly with clients to address billing and payment inquiries, using strong communication skills to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty, while also gathering insights to inform service improvements;
- Debt Collection: Implement procedures for following up on overdue accounts and employ strategies to collect unpaid dues effectively;
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports detailing accounts receivable status and contribute to financial forecasts and audits.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience; Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is required;
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration;
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles;
- Proven ability to handle and manage accounting data;
- Highly organized and detailoriented, with effective multitasking and prioritization skills;
- Capable of working independently and resolving issues;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Thorough and reliable;

This is an on-site position.Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
