We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Compliance Officer to join our team and ensure our operations meet all necessary regulations and standards.


Job Description:

As a Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. They will enforce regulations in all aspects and levels of business as well as provide guidance on compliance matters.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, including the manual for r2 v
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Identify and assess areas of significant business risk.
  • Liaise with legal and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance matters.
  • Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to senior management.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree required; JD or CCEP (or equivalent certification) preferred.
  • Fluency in English
  • A minimum of 5 years of corporate ethics and compliance experience in a multinational public company, or 3+ years with a JD or CCEP.
  • Experience with international trade regulations and US export licensing and controls, specifically: BIS Regulations including Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Export Control Classification (ECCN); Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of emotional and cultural intelligence, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Strong writing, analytical, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
  • Excellent problem solver and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with mínimal direction.
  • Ability to function in a fastpaced environment handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

Nice to Have:

  • Ethics & Compliance experience in a global technology company.
  • Experience in thirdparty risk management.
  • Compliance system implementation/management experience.
