Overview:

OVERVIEW OF POSITION:


Supports planning, design, and execution of strategy, transformation, new development, and business improvement initiatives and solutions of majorimpact to the organization.

Provides project management support and facilitates development and implementation of new products and enhancements; ensures coordination of personnel and resources required to successfully complete projects and enables change management strategy.

Ensures projects/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Assures compliance of projects and solutions with applicable standards and regulations, internal and external to the organization.


Starting salary:
$110k/yr


Responsibilities:


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Supports organizational strategic objectives, initiatives, and highimpact projects, in areas such as technical and operational improvement and standardization, development of solutions, new services, change management and transformation of existing ones. Collaborates with stakeholders and external entities as applicable.
  • Plans, prioritizes, monitors, provides direction, and validates work of project team to ensure appropriate skills, workload, quality and timeliness of deliverables. Provides periodic reporting of status of projects, costs, schedules, communications, contractual deliverables, among other key metrics to VP, EPMO, project governnance team and the leadership team as applicable.
  • Makes decisions in end to end project management, demonstrating ownership of the entire process from beginning to end while developing and implementing program and project level processes, procedures and performance metrics.
  • Partners closely with clinical leaders and department heads within assigned service line, vendors, and with pertinent teams across the organization to ensure collaborative relationships to elevate performance, and coordination of efforts toward successful completion of projects.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Health Management, Psychology, or other relevant field. Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • PM certification required (PMP) or 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Health Information Management certifications preferred.

EXPERIENCE:


  • 510 years of Project Management and Methodologies, Strategic Planning experience. Handson experience leading projects centered around growth strategy and service innovation highly desirable.
  • Experience leading, managing and delivering projects within a multisite medical model is preferred; strong understanding of various project management methodologies and tools.
  • Previous work experience in healthcare or behavioral health organizations preferred.
  • Previous process improvement experience and certification like LEAN Six Sigma, Six Sigma Black/Green Belt.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:


  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, take initiative, prioritize; excellent time management, creative thinking, decisionmaking, analytical, problemsolving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to understand business requirements/concepts and facilitate discussions in project context.
  • Ability to motivate others outside of direct authority to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information/research and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Ability to effectively manage and lead multiple fastpaced technical and nontechnical projects of medium to large size, and medium to high complexity, and provide high quality results.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical and nontechnical presentations for team, corporate, and service line leadership. Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Thorough knowledge of local, state, federal, and applicable regulations regarding the management of EHR client information, and HIPAA. Or the ability to acquire this knowledge.
  • Ability to acquire an understanding of organization and department policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and learn departmentspecific technology and computer systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, through oral and written skills, with all levels of staff and the general public; and maintain customer service orientation and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal record/fingerprint clearance from the Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation, per Easterseals Southern California and/or program requirements.
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed.
