Job Title:
Helpdesk Support Technician
AmTab designs, manufacturers and furnishes high-impact learning environments. We specialize in school cafeterias, computer and technology rooms, music and performance spaces, classrooms, science labs, and multi-purpose areas. All AmTab products and services create inspiring learning environments and transformational learner experiences. We are well known specifically for K-12 Dining Commons and K-12 Food Courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide enduser desktop support and troubleshooting in Windows/Office environment.
- Setup and install peripherals including but not limited to routers, phones, PC's, printers and laptops in person.
- Maintain, implement, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment to provide IT solutions for customer's critical business systems.
- Work with team members to resolve more complex problems and escalate difficult issues to Team Lead for additional technical assistance.
- Log all help desk interactions within our tracking system.
- Participate in afterhours upgrades, troubleshooting, and/or oncall availability as needed.
- Document processes and procedures.
- Inventory supplies such as toner cartridges, computer parts and supplies.
Qualifications / Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2 year minimum of help desk experience is preferred.
- A certification in one or more of the following is preferred:
- CompTIA A+
- MCDST
- Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician
- MCP
- Microsoft Certified Professional
- MCSE
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert
- MCSA
- Microsoft Systems Administrator
- Administration Helpdesk for AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Excellent customer service skills along with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Previous working experience in IT support.
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
- Knowledge in Office 365 Teams, SharePoint and Active Directory.
Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
