Specialist for Forging Materials (all genders)

EXCITING TASKS

  • Independent planning and execution of technology and development projects
  • Representation of work results in development teams and documentation in the form of technical reports
  • Characterization of materials and evaluation of material data
  • Creation of specifications to support quality assurance, production, and procurement
  • Evaluation of component usability in case of material deviations
  • Comparison with stateoftheart technology and development of potential improvements
  • Representation of the department in internal and external committees
  • Technical guidance and advice to development, production, procurement, and MRO departments in the field of material technology

EXCELLENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed degree in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, forming technology, or a comparable education
  • Indepth knowledge of nickel or titanium materials
  • Experience in forming technology and material testing desirable
  • Programming skills are an advantage
  • High level of initiative and willingness to develop methodically and professionally
