RMA is seeking a full-time Patient Financial Coordinator to join our growing team in our Abington or King of Prussia offices.

In general, the Patient Financial Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of patients' financial account with regard to reimbursement, including referral intake and authorization processing, billing, and collections.

This is a full-time opportunity; Monday to Friday starting at 7am.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct patient consultations to review and answer questions related to financial policies and requirements
  • Verify patient insurance benefits and detail documentation in patient progress notes
  • Request insurance authorizations, review and approve loan payments from outside lending companies
  • Patient followup to ensure payment of outstanding copayments, balances, coinsurance, etc.
  • Respond to patient calls/correspondence regarding billing questions, financial policies, claims submission, etc.
  • Manage assigned patients' financial matters throughout their treatment plan
  • Ensure a high level of customer service

Skills & Requirements:

  • Associate degree or Business/Technical School Diploma is required.
  • Minimum 1year medical reimbursement as well as medical office receptionist experience with scheduling, insurance verification and collection experience is required.
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) and medical software program experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening and communications skills, including ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Aptitude to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
  • Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment. Must be able to multitask.
  • Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.
