- The Sales Team Manager/Business Team Leader (BTL) is responsible for leading a team of professional sales associates covering multiple sales channels in a defined geographical area.
- Responsible for achieving profitable revenue growth from a pre-assigned account portfolio and supporting the Business Development team in acquiring new customers.
- Manages a team of eight to start.
- Leads team to exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Develops strategic sales growth plans.
- Provides dedicated coaching to team members.
- Attracts, recruits, develops and retains high performing associates.
- Establishes development programs for all associates.
- Anticipates business changes and implements growth programs.
- Maintains working relationship with cross functional managers.
- Consults with sales leadership and HR to hold associates accountable.
- Drives company culture and ensures fulfillment of mission.
- Participates in special projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred.
- Two years of sales experience negotiating agreements preferred.
- Proven track record of leading high performing teams.
- Strong strategic acumen and leadership skills.
- Proven Leadership change agent.
- Proven Sales Management.
- Customer Focus, Drives Results, Develops Talent, Communicates Effectively, etc.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively is required.
- Compensation starting at $107,870 – $169,510 per year depending on location and experience.
