    Your role as a Credentialing Coordinator


    As a new Credentialing Coordinator at VillageCare, you can expect a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing provider credentialing processes, conducting thorough credentialing verifications, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams to gather necessary documentation, resolve any credentialing issues, and maintain accurate records. Additionally, you will assist in preparing reports, updating databases, and communicating effectively with healthcare providers. This role requires keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

    What matters most


    To excel in the role of Credentialing Coordinator at VillageCare, you must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and under the guidance of the Senior Credentialing Manager.

    Proficiency in utilizing software and tools to support credentialing, delegated credentialing, and vendor oversight is essential for success.

    You will be responsible for ensuring that contracted providers meet program and regulatory standards while maintaining compliance with NYS DOH, CMS, and NCQA requirements.

    Key tasks include conducting Primary Source Verification (PSV) of internal clinical staff, managing the provider portal, coordinating with Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) for practitioner credentialing, and participating in departmental audits.

    Your role will also involve drafting correspondence to providers, maintaining electronic files, and assisting with audits for delegated entities and IPAs.

    Your dedication to accuracy and timeliness will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our credentialing processes.
