    Overview:


    THIS WORK MATTERSThe Monitoring and Case Management Response program supervisor will support the division's goals of maintaining a high level of oversight to clients enrolled in home and community-based services as directed in Oregon Administrative Rule by directly supervising a team of case managers who conduct residential and case management contact monitoring.

    The program supervisor will work cross-divisionally with multi-disciplinary teams to improve quality assurance and compliance standards for inter-governmental agreement standards between Multnomah County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services.

    Additionally, this role will work to support the development of cross-agency standards that improve outcomes for individuals dually enrolled with Multnomah County Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and other community organizations.

    As the Monitoring and Case Management Response Program Supervisor, other duties will include:

    Direct Supervision of the Monitoring and Case Management Response Team Provide program supervision and technical assistance by assigning workEstablish work schedules and developing work procedures consistent with county, department, and state policies; develop plans and procedures for achieving objectives and goals to make sure program goals and objectives are met and consistency is achievedWork with other program supervisors to evaluate training, coverage, and support teams Conduct regular team meetings to make sure the distribution and discussion of new state or county policy and program updates, to provide a forum for staff feedback, training, and opportunities for team building Review and respond to client and provider comments on a timely mannerAssure compliance with Oregon Administrative rules in addition to the federal Home and Community Based Waiver so all file documents are accurate, up-to-date, and with in requires standardsPromoting equity and the fair and just distribution of resources and opportunities for individuals with intersecting marginalized identities, culturally specific and culturally responsive community-based organizationsPrioritize practices that promote retention, connection, relationship building, and high morale.

    Aid in evaluating FTE and make recommendations related to development of the annual operating budget; participate in forecasting additional funds for staffing and resources.

    Prepare various reports on operations and activitiesSuccessful candidates must have the following:

    Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills*:

    Education/Training:
    A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the field of study of Social Work, psychology, or special education (Equivalent 4-5 years of training and practical experience may substitute for the educational requirement)

    A Master's degree in Social Work, psychology, special education, or related field is preferred4-5 years leadership experience leading and developing a team Experience:

    Experience working with individuals with Intellecutal and Developmental Disabilities, such as through volunteer work, internships, or paid employmentFamiliarity with the relevant laws and regulations governing IDD services Preferred Qualifications/ Transferable Skills*: You do not need to have the following preferred qualifications/ transferable skills to qualify.
