Key Requirements:


Cash Handling Experience:
Previous cashier experience in a similar role is essential.

Customer Service Excellence:
Exceptional customer service skills are a must.

Register and POS Proficiency:
Ability to operate a cash register (point of sale or POS system), computer, telephone, and other necessary equipment.

Team Player:
Capable of working harmoniously within a team and engaging positively with customers.

Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational abilities to ensure smooth checkout processes.

Versatility:

Willingness to learn and contribute to all areas of the store, including pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging of merchandise.


Attendance:
A consistent and punctual attendance record is required.

Flexible Availability:
Must be available for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Key Responsibilities:


Checkout Operations:
Process register transactions, including sales and returns, efficiently and accurately.

Store Preparation:
Perform opening and closing procedures to ensure the store is ready for daily operations.

Drawer Balancing:
Responsible for the accurate balancing of the register drawer.

Customer Engagement:
Greet and assist customers courteously.

Communication:
Answer and monitor calls and pages to assist customers promptly.

Product Knowledge:
Continuously expand your product knowledge to help customers with store layout and product location.

Store Presentation:
Assist in pricing, stocking, marking, and bagging merchandise.

Cleanliness:
Maintain the checkout areas in a neat and clean condition at all times.

Adaptability:
Be ready to perform any other duties as assigned by store management.
