CMI Group Document Control Manager

Bonus:
Eligible for Quarterly Bonus Plan, up to $300 per quarter


Location:3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040


Shift:
Full time, day shift


Responsibilities:


  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures regarding document storage, sharing, transmission, and destruction.
  • Evaluates existing document management systems and procedures to determine current effectiveness and efficiency; identifies and recommends improvements.
  • Consults with end users to identify problems in accessing electronic content.
  • Ensures security of system and integrity of master documents by implementing document and system access rights and revision controls.
  • Ensures company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
  • Communicates and consults with other staff when assessing, acquiring, or deploying new electronic document management systems to ensure smooth transition and mínimal disruption.
  • Maintains current knowledge of best practices and developments in document management technologies and techniques through participation in professional organizations or conferences, attendance at meetings or workshops, participation in educational programs, and discussions with colleagues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Work with various functional areas to as needed to develop, maintain and implement appropriate strategies to meet business requirements and ensure full compliance with all regulatory agencies in terms of data management
  • Prepare and submit necessary information as required to support the customer
  • Manage all post approval activities such as recordkeeping, reporting requirements
  • Support and implementation corrective actions that result from compliance violations
  • Review of program contractual statements of work to assist in the development of the work scope for each customer contract
  • Make formal presentations in meetings, training environments and respond to questions from management, employees, customers and vendors related to documentation compliance

Basic Qualifications:


  • Bachelors' degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or other industryrelated field required; MBA preferred
  • At least 10 years of industryrelated experience
  • Experience of 3+ years in the area of compliance or document control management
  • Proven ability to make and meet commitments
  • Results oriented
  • Strong problemsolving and multitasking skills
  • Must meet the US Person requirement due to ITAR

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of laws and regulations regarding document management.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent and creative problemsolving skills.
  • Maintains engineering team accomplishments by reviewing open issues and action items, coordinating actions, and contributing information and analysis to team meetings and reports
  • Prepares compliance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing measurement data and trends
  • Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging compliance engineering practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations, reading professional publications, and maintaining personal networks
  • Enhances engineering organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
