Job Summary:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify clients' needs
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's specific requirements
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Offer mental health counseling and support to address emotional challenges
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in client interactions
- Implement Christian counseling principles where applicable
- Conduct group therapy sessions to facilitate emotional healing and growth
Experience:
- Proficiency in medical terminology for effective communication with healthcare professionals
- Experience in conducting group therapy and facilitating therapeutic group dynamics
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health status
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information
- Strong background in medical documentation to maintain accurate records of client progress
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles for holistic care approaches
- Expertise in clinical counseling techniques for comprehensive client support
- Skill in providing individual and group counseling tailored to diverse client needs
- Experience in addressing aging issues through specialized counseling techniques
