Description

Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.

This is part time, benefited position working 8-hour day shifts on Mondays, Fridays, and the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month. Hours are generally 8am-5pm but may vary based on need. Located at the Jefferson Clinic in Oceanside (off the 78 freeway & Jefferson exit).

What you'll be doing:

Primarily working with Retina Specialist on site
Prepping patients for eye injections
Preliminary testing
Assist in inoffice procedures
Authorizations
Inbasket/message management
Ordering meds/medication inventory
Med management, working with prior authorizations and referrals.
Ensuring Scripps patients and their families have an exceptional health care experience
Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice patient care includes:
compliance with patient assessments and care tasks
