- Operating commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
- Ensuring all dishes and kitchen tools are properly washed, rinsed, and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Sorting and organizing clean dishes and utensils for efficient distribution to kitchen staff.
- Assisting with general kitchen duties such as food preparation, cleaning, and organization as needed.
- Adhering to all sanitation and safety procedures to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Difficult work including lift and carry up to up to 50 lbs up to 20 times per shift.
