    Description

    We are seeking a talented Senior Software Development Engineer (Runtime) to join CIMON Inc to solve interesting and complex problems in the world of automation.

    Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

    • Full-time, Exempt Position
    • Fully On-Site in Henderson, Nevada
    • Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM w/ 1 hr lunch
    • Mid-to Senior level

    Requirements:

    • Eagerness to learn new technology
    • Hands-on experience in developing scalable software systems
    • Experience with version control such as Git
    • Experience with C, C++ and/or Java (Bonus: Qt experience)
    • Ability to understand and apply knowledge of object-oriented analysis, design, and programming techniques
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience in the application of software engineering principles, theories, concepts, and techniques

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with other developers to design and implement a highly usable and scalable software system to be used in industrial automation
    • Analyze and evaluate technical tradeoffs for every decision
    • Test and debug to improve the quality and to optimize performance
    • Ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability of the software
    • Architect efficient data interfaces to interact with other modules
    • Participate in all steps of the development process, from design to maintenance
