- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of GenAI/ML projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with product roadmaps and business objectives.
- Break down complex GenAI/ML projects into manageable tasks and create detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Manage project risks and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
- Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report on project status to stakeholders.
- Facilitate regular team meetings, communication channels, and collaboration between engineering, data science, and product teams.
- Manage project budgets and ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Experience in product marketplace management
- Document project plans, requirements, and processes for future reference.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest project management methodologies and best practices.
- 5-10 years of experience in technical program management and/or product management, preferably within the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Prior experience working on AI/ML projects is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of the product development process (PDP) and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, specifically Agile and Scrum.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers.
- Extensive experience in defining projects, risk identification, scope coordination, dependency recognition, scheduling, and the deployment of new products and features.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem solving.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Working knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) concepts and their application in software development.
- MS, MBA, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related technical field or equivalent.
- Experience as a data scientist using modeling tools.
- Proven experience as a Program Manager in a technology-driven and fast-growing environment.
