Salary Range:
$16.50


Job Summary:
To handle inbound donations from the public, as well as processing sold merchandise for customer pickup.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Provide professional, friendly service to people dropping off donated items at the ReStore.
  • Responsible for handling donated items with care within the donation drop off area, reviewing items for sale ability, and moving inventory to both the sales floor or to stock areas.
  • Act as a positive spokesperson for our Habitat for Humanity affiliate to the donors they work with, while providing polite and respectful customer service.
  • To assist in making the donation receiving area a safe workspace.
  • To treat all donated items with care to avoid damage.
  • Handle the movement of sold merchandise from the sales floor to the donation for customer pickup.
  • Work effectively and professionally with all ReStore management, employees, and volunteers.

Skills Required:


  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and meet the physical requirements of the position.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people.
  • Must have the ability to remain flexible as changes occur during the daily execution of their work
  • Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude that promotes successful teamwork and collaboration.
  • Possess a professional demeanor that allows you to represent the mission and strategic goals and objectives of RAHFH in a positive manner.
