WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a new Talent Acquisition Manager who will have the primary responsibility for leading the talent acquisition function and a secondary role of supporting and leading general HR initiatives to support the growth and development of the organization.

This individual will have an extensive talent acquisition background with a strong HR acumen, experience in Federal and State employment laws, HR systems and project management work.

They will manage the recruiting activity of the organization and lead talent acquisition strategy.

They will work with all levels of management on corporate-wide initiatives, creating value by anticipating and responding to market trends and opportunities.


What You'll Do:
Talent Acquisition

  • Provide strategic leadership in assessing the needs of both the hiring managers, as well as the overall business goals to ensure that the organization's recruiting processes, talent initiatives and implementations are executed with compliance, efficiency, and strategic innovation in mind
  • Manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding of qualified and diverse talent
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Partners to continually develop a recruiting strategy based on short and longterm company goals
  • Oversight and development of recruiting analytics, including trend analysis, forecasting, and utilizing data in decision making process. Communicate recruiting metrics and information to stakeholders and business partners as needed and on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Create and promote diversity hiring plans and strategies
  • Work with Total Rewards on job descriptions development, modification, and/or reviewing business recommended changes for compliance
  • Provide behavioral interview training to appropriate stakeholders
  • Participate in in job fairs and career events as needed
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws/regulations that impact the recruiting/hiring process for background check, DOT/FMCSA compliance and drug screens
HR Generalist

  • Lead and/or support companywide HR projects and programs
  • Collaborate and support HR leaders on recurring annual HR processes
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of HR initiatives
  • Work with the Training and Organizational Development, to build programs for talent development
  • Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers, maintaining consistent communication and updates as a liaison between all parties

What Your Proficient In:

  • Bachelor's degree is required in business, human resources or related field + 7 years of experience, including 3+ years of recruiting experience and 3+ years of other HR generalist experience (business partner, service center, total rewards, HR information systems.) Equivalent experience in lieu of degree may apply.
  • Knowledge of hiring practices applicable to state and federal laws including but not limited to DOT/FMCSA compliance, AAP, OFCCP and FLSA
  • Previous project management experience preferred
  • Organize and prioritize multiple, competing priorities to maximize personal and team effectiveness
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders at all levels of an organization and diverse cultures; ability to build productive relationships.
  • Have tolerance for ambiguity and a successful track record demonstrating organization agility; be knowledgeable about how organizations work; know how to get things done through formal channels and the informal network.
  • Travel to WIN Waste Innovations sites, educational institutions, and career fairs up to 25% of any given month.
