- Coordinate and organize administrative activities and direct the flow of information.
- Coordinate information flow by acting as a department liaison to internal & external customers.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries and direct callers to the appropriate technical resource.
- Monitor the Field Risk Departments safety email box, identify issues for follow up, route to appropriate staff for attention. Then monitor to ensure requests are being addressed and completed.
- Effectively utilize the Microsoft Office platform to produce communications, letters, reports, charts, graphs, and other documents as needed.
- Maintain OSHA Logs for the company.
- Maintain third party procurement websites such as: ISNetworld, DISA, Veriforce, Avetta, Appruv.
- Prepare agendas and meeting minutes for committees to which the Corporate Safety Manager and Director of Field Risk belong.
- Provide confidential support on issues related to Company incidents/accidents.
- Create and maintain databases related to Field Risk Management trend tracking and goals.
- Maintain up to date information on the company intranet (Summit 360) as it relates to the Field Risk Management department.
- Take effective minutes at technical and business committee meetings.
- Prepare interdepartmental memos, letters, reports, databases, charts, graphs and other documents.
- Provide support for internal training programs.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
- General OSHA background preferred.
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Ability to anticipate workload and projects proactively.
- Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
- Must be able to comply with SFPH's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Safety Coordinator is responsible for administrative and clerical support to the Field Risk Management Department. This can include tasks such as organizing safety training sessions, maintaining department records and documentation, scheduling department meetings, assisting with safety inspections and audits, and communicating safety policies and procedures to employees. You may also help with compiling safety reports, tracking safety related metrics, and assisting with incident investigations. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and knowledge of safety protocols and regulations are important for this role. Reports directly to the Director of Field Risk Management.
