Description
Campbellsport is looking for an automation technician to bring machines to life in our production. As an automation technician, you will assemble computer-controlled systems and program processes into their systems. In short, you will tell the machines what tasks to perform and how to do them.Additionally, you will build and test electrical circuits, install measuring equipment, and measure electrical values such as current and voltage.
As an automation technician, you will be a specialist in drive, measurement, and control technology, and have a deep understanding of the functions and processes of automated systems.
The apprenticeship will last for 3.5 years and requires a good secondary school diploma or high school diploma, strong math skills, and an interest in electrical engineering, physics, computer science, and new technologies.
We offer hands-on experience in our company workshops, additional support from our training partner Provadis, a great community of apprentices, a competitive salary based on collective bargaining agreements (including vacation pay and a 13th month salary), a company laptop, and individual feedback discussions.
