+ Provides physicaltherapy according to the direction and supervision of the Physical Therapistand in accordance with the physician's plan of care according to stateregulations + Treats individuals to help relieve pain, develops orrestores function, and maintains Amergisum functional mobility and performance + Continues to assess the client's living environment forbarriers, safety risks and equipment needs + Directs and aids clients in active, passive and resistivetherapeutic exercises, muscle re- education, functional gait and balancetraining, transfer activities, and prosthetic training + Instructs care and use of assistive mobility devices, bracesand prosthetic or orthotic devices + Utilizes physical agents, including but not limited to heat,cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage + Cleans and maintains equipment used in the field inaccordance with manufactures directions and per policy + Instructs and educates individual, family, and/or caregiversin the use of and care of therapeutic appliances + Reports reaction(s) to treatment or change(s) in conditionto physician and Physical Therapist + Identifies individual and family/caregiver needs for othersupportive services and notifies Physical Therapist + Maintains communication with the company and other personnelcaring for the client to assure that their efforts effectively complement eachother and support the objectives outlined in the plan of care + Prepares and submits clinical progress-summaries based onthe progress toward goals and responses to treatment + Participates in discharge planning + Provides/submits accurate and timely documentation that isconsistent with the plan of care + Complies with applicable local, state, and federal laws andregulations regarding professional standards and practice standards + Performs other duties as assigned/necessary
Minimum Requirements:
