The Warehouse Team is looking to fill the roles of Forklift Driver in their Leominster & Westminster, Massachusetts facility.

As a shipper, you're responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the warehouse and shipping department by being self-motivated, having exemplary attention to detail, and having the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You are required to follow all company instituted safety and procedural guidelines at all times during your working hours.


The Leominster site is one of the manufacturing sites for IPL's Large Format and Retail Packaging (LF&R) business in the United States.

LF&R is a growing segment, with annual revenue of approximately $200m and significant growth potential, and is part of the Environmental, Returnable and Industrial Solutions (ERIS) Division of IPL.


Position Title:
Forklift Driver - 1st Shift (Multiple Locations)


Location:
Leominster, Massachusetts


Responsibilities:


  • Utilize a forklift and/or handjack to move product throughout the warehouse and to load and unload trucks.
  • Pick and select items to be shipped and check quantities for accuracy.
  • Utilize a handheld scanner for inventory control purposes.
  • Complete customer orders by obtaining product from warehouse stock and deliver to the designated staging area.
  • Unload delivery vehicles:
  • Verify delivery quantities by comparing items received to the packing slips
  • Visually inspect for shortages and notify management of discrepancies
  • Move, lift, and carry, delivered items to appropriate areas and stock safely.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area at all times.
  • Adhere to company safety policies at all times.

Essential experience and skills:


  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift certification provided onsite
  • Reliability and good attendance is imperative
  • Ability to work from written and verbal instructions
  • Time management, planning, and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work as a team and maintain good working relationships with coworkers
  • Math aptitude ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Prior work experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
