I am now afraid of water when it reaches my neck, as I used to swim but got caught in a whirlpool in the river between the jetty and Rodiles beach and almost drowned. Since then, I have a tremendous phobia. I have a pool in my neighborhood, but I only float a little and I am embarrassed about it. Additionally, I now need to swim for my bone and muscle problems. Due to health issues, I have not been able to exercise for almost two years. Before, I used to exercise regularly.
