Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk/Estimator.
As a Data Entry Clerk/Estimator, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data obtained from a set of civil plans into our software.
The program is called Stack-It and it is how we quote manholes for our jobs we do. This position is something we want to grow into a full time outside sales representative. You will eventually be communicating with clients and making sure they are taken care of. You will see the job from start to finish in this position. There is A LOT of room for growth in this position.Responsibilities:
- Collect and gather data from a set of civil plans
- Organize and sort data in a systematic manner
- Enter data into designated software (Stack-It)
- Verify the accuracy of entered data and make necessary corrections
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all data
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documents
- Transcribe information from one format to another accurately
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in using computer systems and software
- Fast and accurate typing skills
- Knowledge of data entry procedures and best practices
- Familiarity with databases and office equipment
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Reliable mode of transportation
- Experience with civil plans (preferred, not required)
