We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure compliance with regulations and oversee lease administration, contributing to our vibrant community's success.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including affordable housing and Fair Housing Standards.
- Manage tenant relations, rental payments, and Reasonable Accommodations.
- Coordinate with agencies and property management for compliance strategies and issue resolution.
- Oversee lease preparation, execution, renewals, and modifications.
- Monitor rent payments, lease expirations, and financial aspects.
- Maintain accurate lease files, records, and reports.
- Serve as a primary tenant contact and handle inquiries, negotiations, and terminations.
- Must be present onsite, with the ability to move throughout the building, ensuring effective communication with tenants, staff, vendors, and visitors.
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and be comfortable with exposure to varying environmental climates and circumstances.
- Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, real estate or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily housing; lease administration is preferred.
- Valid NYS real estate license or ability to obtain one within the first 120 days of employment.
- Proficiency in navigating computers and property management software, to include Microsoft Office, On-Site, and Yardi
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal housing regulations.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in recordkeeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Work authorization (required).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) as needed.
Rose Associates requires all colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless there is an approved religious or medical exemption.
Pay:
$ $33.65 per hour
Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
