Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate overhead cranes and other heavy machinery to lift, move, and position materials and equipment in accordance with project requirements.
  • Conduct preoperation inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Rig loads and attach lifting devices to crane hooks, ensuring proper balance and load capacity.
  • Operate cranes to lift and lower loads, following instructions from spotters or other team members.
  • Determine load weights, calculate load capacities, and ensure safe lifting operations.
  • Collaborate with team members and other operators to ensure efficient workflow and safe working conditions on the job site.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, damage, or incidents to the supervisor or maintenance personnel immediately.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Crane Operator license is a plus but not required
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial shop environment a plus
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Pay:
$18.00 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
