Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Training: 8:00am-4:30pm
Schedule: 9:00am-5:30pm, Monday - Friday plus occasional holidays and weekend hours
Primary role is to handle phone calls in a fast-paced multi-channel contact center.
Handle incoming telephone calls which may include routing internal and external callers, first report of claims, assisting with policy changes, payment processing, and other miscellaneous phone requests.
May be responsible for processing tasks assigned out of a work queue and take on additional work or projects, all while meeting service level expectations.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Demonstrates effective organizational skills with the ability to make good common-sense decisions while balancing multiple tasks.Preferred Experience and Skills
- Excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Prior experience in call center, reception work, retail
- Data entry skills
- Knowledge of personal computers
- Interpersonal skills
- Telephone skills
Preferred Education and Training
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some college preferred
