- Must be a registered nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred
- Knowledge of common childhood illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to school health services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff members
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
