Greenbelt Homes, Inc. (GHI), is a not-for-profit housing cooperative of 1,600 homes in the "Old Greenbelt" neighborhood of Greenbelt, Maryland is seeking an experienced, professional Administrative Assistant/Receptionist,(preferably with Property Management experience)

The Administrative Assistant is the first and last point of contact to our members, residents and visitors

Some of the essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Warmly greet all visitors
  • Maintain switchboard
  • Maintain Director of Member Services and departmental calendars
  • Schedule Zoom Meetings and other events
  • Transcribe Board Meeting minutes
  • Filing
  • Coordinate Volunteer Member Recruiting
  • Data entry
  • Compose letters, memorandums and departmental reports
  • Other clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
-
Prior HOA, Condo Association and property management experience a PLUS:

  • Must be self motivated with limited supervision and a keen attention to detail
  • Able to create and maintain various departmental reports
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills a must
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing law
Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures.

Ability to use, with proficiency, various forms of office equipment and the professional maturity to work effectively with the public and fellow employees.


Must be able to use Access, Microsoft Word, Excel, Zoom and Google Docs software;
YARDI experience highly desirable. Prior IT and NT Network experience a PLUS Must be flexible to assist with clerical duties in other departments. A high school diploma is required.
