    Night Shift Machine Operator

    What we're looking for:

    Machine Operator for Night Shift

    Seeking individuals for Machine Operator on Night Shift. Hours are Monday - Thursday, 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM. Frequent overtime of 1.5 hours per day with additional voluntary OT available often. Wage starts at $22.00 per hour (+Shift Differential of $5/hour), DOE.

    Machine Operator is responsible for operating one of our press machines or a CNC table router, along with directing the activities of their assigned Material Handler. This person will understand the customer and machine requirements, and will be trained to program the press settings for things like speed and material quantities. Basic math, including adding fractions and division, is required. Prior experience in manufacturing/machine operation a must.

    All positions require moderate lifting (50 lbs), with occasional heavy lifting (75 lbs +).

    In business since 1994, SpaceAge Synthetics is a manufacturer of fiberglass reinforced polyurethane boards. Our products are shipped around the world and used in many industries where moisture would be an issue for traditional plywood, such as marine, bus, and flooring. Our most visible product is our Ice Cap ice arena flooring. This product is used in over 300 hockey arenas around the world, allowing those arenas to host concerts, trade shows, etc., without removing the ice.

    In addition to being ISO 9001:2015 registered, SpaceAge Synthetics is proud to be SHARP certified by OSHA and we do our best to provide a safe working environment. This extends from the guards on equipment all the way to having air quality and sound levels tested

    Requirements:

    Requirements:

    • 2+ years manufacturing experience required.
    • Knowledge of, or experience working with, Fiberglass would be helpful but not required.
