    SUMMARY:

    The Part Time Receptionist is responsible for providing 'top notch' customer service to our customers in person as well as on the phone. The Receptionist answers all incoming calls directing each call appropriately, while greeting customers at the front counter in a professional and friendly manner. The receptionist performs administrative tasks as assigned. The Receptionist provides a 'one step further' attitude to dealers making it apparent that they can always count on us. The Receptionist exhibits superior customer service at all times.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    RESPONSIBLE FOR:
    1. Provide efficient and courteous service to all customers at all times.
    2. Always exhibit 'hands on' and direct approach with customers.
    3. Answer phones in a timely, professional manner.
    4. Forward calls to appropriate personnel or take messages as requested.
    5. Mailing of checks as titles.
    6. Assist accounting department.
    7. Posting all purchases to applied floor plans and posting payments when received.
    8. Monitor floor plan reports weekly.
    9. Directs vendors and dealers as necessary.
    10. Receives packages delivered to front of office.
    11. Files, faxes letters and memos as necessary.
    12. Process outgoing mail and packages as necessary.
    13. Work well independently as well as a team player
    14. Timely communication of issues that may be deemed as detrimental to the success of operations to Management.
    15. Performs other duties as necessary
    Requirements
    • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Experience: Previous switchboard and data entry skills preferred
    • Should be highly organized, self motivated and self disciplined. Highly customer service orientated. Computer proficient.
    • Must be able to read, write and speak English and Spanish fluently.
    • Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Environment: The environment of the Receptionist involves working at the Auction in a fast paced environment requiring good multi-tasking skills with excellent telephone manner/skills.
