Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate strategy, goals, and measurable components to drive success and accountability across the organization
  • Act as the point of contact and facilitate the work request demand and prioritization process
  • Advance, assist, and follow through on the resolution of issues related to the delivery of technology solutions
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with both senior and operating level business leaders to ensure effective delivery of business deliverables and technology solutions
  • Stay abreast of business strategy, goals, objectives, and operational performance
  • Educate business partners on roles, responsibilities, processes, and work required to ensure effective delivery of new technology solutions
  • Supervise and lead projects to ensure delivery of work requests and projects are within committed budget, on schedule, and the quality of individual projects meets the overall department performance goals
  • Aligning with business partners on delivery success criteria and ensuring technology solutions follow architectural standards
  • Provide cost estimates and business case updates
  • Accountable for identifying needs, securing commitments and monitoring progress of tasks from internal and external service provider teams
  • Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software
  • Ensure adherence to code scanning and other security protocols are adhered to during releases
  • Empower, mentor, and develop team members
  • Establish department and individual's goals including performance reviews and career and performance plans
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining an overall sourcing plan which includes creative sourcing options and alternatives to ensure supply capacities meet work demand, role and skills required and cost objectives
  • Assess and recommend improvements to the organization structure, roles, and responsibilities

Qualifications:


What's needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Administration
- +10 years of management experience in an IT or leadership related role focused on operational systems

  • Prior experience in complex cloud migrations using third party service providers
  • Experience required in 24x7 operational systems, third party vendor management for large SaaS solutions
  • Prior experience managing critically important systems as well as large scale program management and operational excellence
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Master of Science degree in Computer Science or Master of Business Administration
  • Familiar with working within a multidisciplined, crossfunctional technical organization with matrixes reporting relationship
  • Experience in travel industry is a significant plus
