Job Overview:


The Service Team Leader will be responsible for leading and facilitating the growth and production of all Personal Lines Service agents in their territory.

The person in this position needs to be strongly focused on customer service, coaching for results, product knowledge and workflow efficiency.

The Service Team Leader should have experience in servicing clients and a track record of strong leadership in the insurance industry.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Direct and coordinate all service activities for their responsible team.
  • Create and implement policies and procedures for service and workflow processes.
  • Improve the service workflow by analyzing current trends, utilizing data, and reporting, and using this information in coaching to impact positive results in alignment with departmental objectives.
  • Maintain a positive and productive team culture by counseling, recruiting, and training employees as well as planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Demonstrate active listening, rapport building, empathy and solutionsfocused problem solving when engaging with clients and staff.
  • Assist Service Agents with effectively identifying other needs in client conversations so we can connect with our other departments to assist (i

Experience Needed:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration (preferred, not required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a manager
  • Minimum of 5 years of service experience
  • Proven track record of positive team management and performance
  • Licensed in Property and Casualty
  • Independent Agency experience

Qualifications:


  • Strong communication, coaching and leadership skills.
  • Ability to create and implement a Service plan.
  • Ability to meet goals by monitoring progress using data reports.
  • Ability to analyze and implement data.
  • Strong presentation skills (oral, written, personal presentation)
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • The ability to review and decipher data for growth and coaching uses.
  • Knowledge and ability to complete production and compliance audits on a monthly basis for Service Team
